Ham and cheese pastry


INGREDIENTS
1 pack of puff pastry dough
300g of ham
12 slices of hard cheese
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 tablespoon of poppy seeds
1 1/2 tablespoons of mustard
1 tablespoon of chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon of sweet and sour sauce

PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.

2. Roll the dough and cut it into 12 triangular pieces. Place a slice of ham and cheese on each piece of dough.

3. Roll up each triangle.

4. Combine the butter, poppy seeds, mustard, sweet and sour sauce, and onion in a small bowl.

5. Grease a baking sheet with oil. Place the rolls on it and pour on the sauce.

6. Bake for 25 minutes until the rolls turn brown.

For years consumers have struggled to fit the large round fruit in their refrigerators. And then there was the problem of trying to cut the fruit when it kept rolling around. But 20 years ago a forward-thinking farmer on Japan's south-western   island   of Shikoku solved the problem.
