Creme brulee


INGREDIENTS
750ml of cream
8 egg yolks
200g of sugar
4 teaspoons of brown sugar
A dash of salt

PREPARATION
1. Combine the cream, some sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Bring the cream to a boil while stirring constantly. Remove from the heat, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then bring it to a boil again.

2. Whisk together the yolks and sugar until they become a little bit fluffy. Add the mixture to the cream.

3. Preheat the oven to 160°С.

4. Fill ceramic molds with the batter, and put them in a deep baking tray. Pour in hot water to cover the bottom half of the molds. Bake the dessert for 30 minutes, and then let it cool at room temperature.

5. Now let’s make the crunchy brown crust that Amelie from the French comedy likes so much! For this, you should use your grill setting. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the creme brulee, and bake in the oven for 1 to 3 minutes.
