INGREDIENTS 96 Ritz crackers 1 cup creamy peanut butter 1 cup marshmallow creme 2 pounds milk chocolate candy coating, melted Holiday sprinkles, optional
PREPARATION 1. Spread half of the crackers with peanut butter. Spread remaining crackers with marshmallow creme; place creme side down over peanut butter crackers, forming a sandwich.
2. Dip sandwiches in melted candy coating, allowing excess to drip off. Place on waxed paper-lined pans; refrigerate for 15 minutes or until set. If desired, drizzle with additional candy coating and decorate with sprinkles. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 4 dozen.

INGREDIENTS Oil for frying Parsley 2 egg whites A dash of salt 1 tablespoon of flour or breadcrumbs for coating 100g of cheese
PREPARATION 1. Grate the cheese. Cool the egg whites and whisk them together with salt.
2. Add the cheese and mix everything together. Season it with salt and pepper if desired.
3. Make small balls, coat them in the flour (or breadcrumbs).
4. Heat up the oil in a pan and fry the balls evenly, turning them over with a fork. Do not fry more than 3 balls at one time. Let the fried balls dry on paper towels.
5. Serve with chopped parsley.

What happens when apples and peanut butter – that old standby – get dressed up with a little flair?  They turn into these charming little apple sandwiches.
Awhile back I attended a fancy catered event where I could hardly eat anything, as most of the dishes contained meat, dairy, or gluten — ingredients I have to avoid. My only consolation was the kids' table, where I found "sandwiches" made from sliced apples, peanut butter, oats, and raisins. Though the apples satiated my rumbling stomach, I didn't think much of them as I gazed longingly at the parade of off-limits foods.
